Austin is a woodwind specialist and educator originally from Florida, now based in New Bern, NC. He is
an experienced performer having played all over the state of Florida and studying music at the University
of North Florida as a member of the UNF Jazz Ensemble 1 having performed with many great jazz
musicians and performing at events like the Jacksonville Jazz Festival, Savannah Jazz Festival, and the
Midwest Clinic in Chicago, IL. Alongside performing, Austin is an experienced educator having taught
saxophone, flute, clarinet, and beginner piano. I teach all ages and different styles to give the student the
best chance to improve on their instrument.
