Kay Horne

Piano

 Before entering college in 1969 Kay studied piano at Harris Conservatory of Music in Rocky Mount, NC. After receiving a degree in education and music from Free Will Baptist Bible College in Nashville, TN, she continued her studies at Campbell University. She was employed by Faith Christian Academy in Goldsboro, NC as an elementary teacher. After a year in the classroom, she became a music teacher for the school, teaching classroom music and private piano lessons. She also served as church organist for Faith Free Will Baptist Church while in Goldsboro.
When Kay first moved to New Bern in 1981, she was employed by Ruth’s Chapel Christian School and taught private piano lessons in her home. She has also been an elementary teacher and church organist for thirty years.
Kay joined the teaching staff of Fuller’s Music in 2001 where she enjoys teaching beginning piano.
