Chauncey V. Stevenson is a native of New Bern, NC, graduating from the Craven County School System in1989. He earned his BA in Music at Shaw University, Raleigh, NC, his MA in Music from Morgan State University, Baltimore, MD, and adjuvant credentials from Towson University, Towson, MD and Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD.

In 2010 he was awarded a Doctor of Sacred Music degree from Christian Bible Institute & Seminary, Houston, TX. Dr. Stevenson currently teaches at Craven Community College.
