Glen Ingles

Widely considered the music industry’s foremost authority on merchandising and store design, Glen Ingles did the layout and design for this building in November 1999. After 15 years as part of a family-owned music store, Glen saw a need in music retail for better merchandising and store design. Glen has designed dozens of stores for some of the most successful music dealers around the country including Portman Music in Savannah, GA, White House of Music in Waukeska, WI and M. Steinert & Sons in Boston. Currently, we are the only store in North Carolina that Glen has designed. In addition to store design, Glen teaches merchandising seminars, contributes articles to music industry trade publications, is a consultant to many of the manufacturers in the music industry, as well as manufacturing his own line of merchandise display fixtures—many of which are used here.
